It's easy to do : Right Click HAL's Icon or open his Menu and there will be an option called " Learn from a text file ". Click it and a POP-UP will ask you for the Text file he should read... just choose one from your HD or any other device...

Ultra Hal 7.0 / Need Help with Error 31

When I try to open a program out of HAL it responds that he's unable to do that because of error 31.
It does'nt matter if I try to run a Windows program like wordpad,edit or a installed one. When I tried to solve that problem I had the idea to create a Database for HAL which allows him to answer questions about his own problems, like a built-in FAQ, so you would'nt have to ask in forums to solve those problems.
But back to error 31 : I run the free Version of HAL 5 on a WIN XP Pro System , Had the same problems with HAL4.5 on that machine.
My 2nd System running on a WIN 98 SE works fine with this feature.
I do not have any other problem, HAL always responds to me and in fact it really works,
 except that error 31 drives HAL and me crazy.[?]
Is there anyone who can Help us open programs ?
P.S.  : I don't really want to re-install the whole windows, it is running stable since about a year now. Only if no other solution can be found I will do so.[V]

I had an idea when I was trying to solve probs with HAL 5. Wouldn't it be a good thing if HAL was able to answer questions about his own errors ? Just like a build in FAQ, but in fact running from a database that could be added...

Juhuuhh... I'll download and test it as soon as I can , never was so happy about a release (Except Black&White)[8D].I hope it is able to recognize the Progs I installed on my machine, Hal4.5 didn't [V](Win XP Pro)

Hello everybody, Turtle from Germany writing. I read the news about the release of the free Version Ultra Hal 5, and I'm really looking forward to it . Some minor Bugs in Version 4.5 or my Win XP did'nt allow me to use all the features, especially running programms with Hal's help. He recognizes the command , but is unable to find any programm installed or coming with Windows. If V.5 works fine with that , I'd really like to buy the full Version to support you people at Zabaware. Happy Hal(ling) [^]?!?
