I would like to scrap one of hals brains that I messed up by inputing the wrong data

Was it a custom brain? If so, look in the Zabaware Folder( "C:\Program Files\Zabaware\Ultra Hal Assistant 6") for the title of the brain. It should be a .DB file. Just delete it. (but don't empty your recycle bin, in case you delete the wrong one, so you can restore, if need be.

the brain name if a custom one should have the name whatever you named it and db at the end of the name for example mine is called angelasmith.db and looks like a white paper page with a yellow cog and green cog on it . and is as mark said is  in the zabaware program folder and in the ultra hal 6 folder (if you have that version ) . [:)]
