Hi,

Ive recently bought the full version of Ultra Hal and think its great.  But I'm having trouble getting it to learn from text files.  It looks like it reads it but when I ask questions or reference the material it does not reply with anything from the material.  Has anyone got any suggestions?

Regards,

Chris

Also has anyone got any tips for teaching Hal?  I would like to make it as realistic as possible.  Another thought is that if there was any downloadable brains available, but I have searched to depths of the internet and found nothing.

Please help.  ta

If you know VB you can edit Hal brain with the editor to get hal to respond more like you want. You might send a message to Waheeddrafiq and he might be able to assist with more information on this topic. I have had this problem also but I just keep repeating the info until hal learns it. There is the Alice brain plugin for Hal it is a little different.[:)]
