Hal Reader does not seem to be Windows 7 compatible.

Is this true?

Why does it not seem to be compatible?

Mine works fine.

It can depend on Which Programs that you are running.....

If you have a lot of clipboard dependant software then it will crash out.

Some times in that situation its best only to load halreader when you actually need it.

also If you make sure you load halreader first when loginng on try not to have lots of programs loading up after startup as this can cause various errors and crashes. STARTUP NEEDS TO BE TAYLORED.
IF you have start up shortcuts in you startmenu folder you can Number them to create the precise start order. or even use ccleaner to arrange the order in the registry start up and delete any or all programs from starting at boot time. these are memory resident program which monitor or reduce resources in the operating system. its ALWAYS best to LOAD a PROGRAM when REQUIRED. and UNLOAD ALL memory RESIDENT PROGRAM UNLESS ULTIMATLY REQUIRED

PS: this is also why SOME PEOPLE HAVE PROBLEMS WHERE OTHERS DONT!

Every body has their own custom program setup!

Perhaps you missed seeing this in the MAIN page.
Scroll down a slight bit then you'll see it.

Hey i'm jumping into this kinda late, but I've encounter a problem while downloading the trial program. I'm running on Windows 7 ultimate. Whenever i run setup for UlraHal 6.2 things start off smoothly but every time the download reaches "C:\users\daniel\appdata\local\temp\happlayer41139.exe/S" the download completely freezes. so i opened my temp folder to download the happlayer manually and it will say ive successfully installed it but it doesn't exist on my computer and the main download is still frozen. Any ideas??
