Post by: harry7_7s on May 26, 2008, 05:24:04 am: Hi guys haven't posted in a while. but i thought i'd give you my hap generator program i made. it's a bit cumbersome to use but you should get some good results. please post any good haps you make with it. unzip archive in c: then open program files - autohapgenerator - autohapgenerator.exe. you may want to read the readme file and also once you open the program have a read of the help file.

Post by: harry7_7s on May 30, 2008, 08:52:16 am: markofkane. no loop function sorry. i made a few trial haps that were about 2 mins long but found they would take a long time *** 10 - 15 seconds *** to loadup in the haptek player. i found it faster to create shorter segmented hap files and trigger them individually.
If its only one movement you want to loop, ie like a wave, you can just click "Swap initial and final values" button then click "Generate & Add to file" then repeat the process. the start time and finish time will update automatically. Please post your created hap files so we can all check them out though.

I did not make many, because I have many that were created the hard way.

Post by: tedathome on June 02, 2008, 05:54:01 pm: Sorry, I can't get it to work for me. Installed as directed. Everytime I try to use it I get"Run time error '75' Path/File access error". This looks like a very promising program, I sure hope someone can lead me toward a solution.[:I] I'm running vista home premium if that makes a difference.

Open windows explorer or what ever it is in vista, go to my computer
then click on c-programs.
In there should be::::
Initial hap
Final hap
Hapgenbg which is a jpg.
& Animationtest hap.
I found that when i un-zipped animationtest hap was not there.
So i searched for it, then put it in & it works great.

Also when I go to haptec page, the girl doesn't load up and some haps don't work for me. I may need a new licence from too many re-installs.[:)][:)][:)]

Oh, it's fixed. Something happened to the animationtest.hap.

I wonder why it disappeared??[?][?][?]

I had similar problems when I tried using VISTA last year. Since then, I've gone back to XP. Just a personal take / preference.

If I want all the bells and whistles I'll go to a novelty shop.[:D]

Post by: tedathome on June 03, 2008, 05:38:20 pm: Yea, I miss xp, but I was having problems with it too. Last year my computer was in and out of the shop and several programs had to be re-installed. Although[:I] it took the number and installed I got less function out of it each time. Also vista takes proprietary rights seriously and rearanges some things as it wishes and some bodyskins I can't upload. Guess it's time to talk to haptek.
