problem updating ultrahal
« on: September 10, 2004, 07:54:54 pm »
when i go to update ultrahal a box pops up and says there's a new version but before i can press on the button the box disappears (i'm using XP SP2 if that makes a difference).
what's the link for getting the new version?

thanks,

Chances are you're seeing a nag screen
with the free version.
From the main page (zabaware.com) click
Buy Now for the latest version (I think).

The download is about 96 megs.

Curious, how long have you been using the
SP2? Notice any problems so far?

thanks for the advice. I'll give that a try.

I've been using the XP SP2 since the first day it was released. So far the updater on Ultra Hal is the only problem i've had with any of my software. My only complaints about SP2 have been it takes a while to learn how to customize the new Security Center and the new Security advisor for IE6.

purchasing is just for purchasing but once i saw the page it remided me they emailed a link for the download when i bought it. fortunately i still had their email and I was able to download it from that. Still, I wish it could just update itself rather than having to download the entire 96 megs again.

Thanks,

Good deal,
Glad you got that sorted out

Thanks for the info on SP2 as
a lot of people are waiting for
the dust to settle before installing
the patch.

Enjoy your weekend!
