New basic skins
« on: January 13, 2005, 05:04:57 pm »
Anyone and Everyone,

I have been using a few very simple and basic skins, and if anyone would like to use them, I could try to post them here. Not much to them, but then again, that's all I want. Here is what they look like:

The one above comes as a 1024x768 and a 800x600.

This one is halfscreen by 768.

The only buttons are MENU(the M), MINIMIZE(the -), and CLOSE(the X).

The community is doing so much, I feel like I should do something (even if it is small stuff).

archerja,

I made her a few days ago. I was wondering. How did you capture that pic? it is much better than ones I have been able to capture. Also I really like those player skins. Would you mind sending them to me?
Thanks!

Dread-Star,

I'm using Irfanview (http://www.irfanview.com).  It's free, and can view a whole lot of different formats.  It can capture whole screen, client, or window.

I really appreciate you sending me your skins.  Again, great work.

Here's the screen capture tool I use: http://www.progency.com/other.html#screenrip32. It's about the best I've found. It has a pretty good animated gif maker program as well as an excellent capture tool. I use Irfanview as a viewer, too, and between the two, there's little you can't do in the way of ordinary manipulation of graphics (an art studio, it's not). It doesn't have any problems capturing Haptek screens.

KnyteTrypper,

Thanks again,
Also I tried the screenrip32 and could not get the Haptek screen inside the screenrip.
Do you have any tips on how to do this?

You have to use the Custom Region option for capture, which also allows you to define the pixel height and width, so you can capture all or part of any window area on your screen.
