Ultra Hal 7.0 / Can't open General Options

Thanks for the information. Tried running Ultra Hal on the Vista Ultimate as the Administrator. Have the same problem, the General Options will not open.

I have this same problem with Ultra Hal when trying to use it on Vista!

When I install on XP, there is no problems.

This was mentioned in a previous post also.

The General Options cannot be opened!

Thought by now a few would have a solution for this issue!

Ultra Hal 7.0 / Hal Vista problems

I gave up trying to use Ultra Hal on a Vista Computer. The program would install with no problems. Never could get Ultra Hal to open and run properly, sometimes the selections would cause the computer to freeze up.

Went back to Windows XP to use Ultra Hal....there I know it will work!

Ultra Hal 7.0 / Menu - General Options

When I try to open the Menu General Options, the selection does not open. This happens each time the Ultra Hal is installed. No errors are indicated during this selection and attempt to open the General Options.

How does one solve this issue?

I am using Windows Vista with the latest updates.

I have been using CyberBuddy for over 3 years and have never experienced any problems with the software. CyberBuddy is an excellent software package.

Ultra Hal 7.0 / Is UltraHal Vista Ready

Vista Beta is still a few months away from the final release date. A lot of those errors might not be seen in the final release. Vista is rather picky about the security issues and the software that is being installed. Some of the same problems is taking place with Microsoft products also, when they are being installed on a computer
that has the Vista OS.

Ultra Hal 7.0 / leap of faith

Hal can come up with some funny stuff.

It is always alot better that the regular AIML responses such as:

That goes without saying.

Hal can provide alot of entertainment if the user is willing and patient enough to teach Hal. Sort of like being a parent! LOL!
