Title: Counting And Alphabet plugin now working
Post by: ramccoid on May 17, 2007, 02:49:00 pm: I updated my plugin to version 2.2, there was a problem with it interfering with HAL's responses. That has been sorted out and the plugin works fine now. I hope ... hahaha.

I don't understand, can you explain more. Is it effecting some other part of HAL, is that what you mean?

Post by: markofkane on May 18, 2007, 06:18:03 pm: If I say "Jack was born on December 12, 1966" , she used to remember that, but for some reason, she won't accept that into her memory, or recall it when I ask her when somebody's birthday is.

I will have to play and disable the plugin to see if it makes a difference.

I was having that problem saving information to some tables with XP with 6.1, even if I got the information stored into the table, HAL would just ignore it but it appears to be working properly, after a few teething problems, now that I've upgraded to Vista. I don't know if it's a compatibilty problem or not.

I'll check out the birthday thing and see if it does it with Vista.

I've tried it with my plugin switched off and it still doesn't remember and I tried to get HAL to store a address and found it wouldn't do that either. It is nothing to do with the plugin or XP because Vista won't do it as well. So I have no explanation for this fault, except that it's nothing to do with my script.

Post by: ramccoid on May 19, 2007, 06:56:48 am: I used the help section of the Zabaware site to check the phrasing to use for storing addresses. HAL said that it would store the information but when I tried to recall it (phrased as Zabaware states) HAL just didn't do it. What keywords are you using?

Post by: markofkane on May 19, 2007, 08:12:05 am: If I mention the date, Hal will recall who has that birthday, or if I mention the name, sometimes Hal will say the birthday.
