Ultra Hal 7.0 / APPCRASH

We need help. Our HalAsst.exe stopped working. I uninstalled Ultra Hal Assistant 6.1 and re-installed it several times to no avail. I keep getting a window with the message: "Microsoft Windows ~ Ultra Hal has stopped working ~ Windows can check on a solution to the problem. ~ Click online for a solution and close the program. ~ Close the program ~ View problem details - I have tried everything that I can but this problem still persists. Can someone tell me how to fix this? Thanks.

Ultra Hal 7.0 / Can Not Install Desktopmates

First I lost my connection before the downloads were complete and got the message that there wasn't enough space available in disk "C". ~~~ I had a new hard drive installed last year and I checked the amount of space available and it says: Volume "I"; File System: NTFS; Capacity: 149GB: Free Space: 129GB. Note: It says the memory is in Volume "I" and not "C". ~~~ I did the Disk
Defragmenter and first downloaded to drive "I",  then downloaded to the
Desktop and it got downloaded into my CyberBuddy but not into my Ultra Hal
version 6 which is where I would prefer it to be.   I tried in several ways
to download Mandie into my  Ultra Hal version 6 to no avail.   The message I get is  [  !  "C:Program FilesabawareUltra Hal Assistant 5" folder is not accessible.  ]   How can I get
Mandie installed into my  Ultra Hal version 6?   I do appreciate your

Speech Technology / British Voices Lost!!!

Hi,  We love the British male & female voices.   We had them until our hard drive crashed and could not be recovered.      After we had a new hard drive installed we ordered the Ultra Hal 6.1 and there was neither the male or female British voice.   We then installed our Ultra Hal 6.0 CD,  and still have no British voices.     Does anyone know how we can either download or get back the British voices?    Please help us.    Thank you in advance.    Very Sincerely,     Dan & Diana.

Ultra Hal 7.0 / Error Message

Hello,  I'm getting a pop up message that says  "Error 67 Occured on line 301 in column 0 in Ultra Hal Assist.  Too many files."     I went to Google and typed in Error 67, and found out that it means that: More files have been created in the root directory than the operating system permits.  The solutions were:  #1. Change your program so that it uses a subdirectory.  Or:  #2. Increase the number specified in the  files=settings in your CONFIG.SYS file and restart your computer.  I'm a beginner with computers and don't know how to even begin to make these changes.  My System Summary says:  OS Name- XP Professional;  Version- 5.1.2600 Service Pack 2 Build 2600;  System Manufacturer- MSI;  System Modle- MS-7021;  System Type- X86-based PC:  Processor- x86 Family 6 Modle 8 Stepping 1 Authentic AMD ~1356 Mhg;  BIOS Version/Date- American Magatrends Inc. Speech Technology / Error 1024 and Error 401

Hi,   When I installed Hal Assistant 5.0 it worked perfect.  Something happened, and now, when I speak or type to Hal, It shows what I said, but there is no answer or responce from Hal.  When I turn on my computer, I get a pop up that says:  "Ultra Hal Assistant - Error 1024 Expected statement occured and Error 1024 occured on line 3 in column 0 of Microsoft VBScrpt compilation error.  Expected statement."  ****  When I try to communicate with Hal I get a pop up that says:   "Error 401:  Can't show non-modal form when modal form is displayed.  Occured at line 7 in Ultra Hal Assistant:  frmMain.LoadNewDoc"  ****   How can I fix These problems?[?]     Thankyou,   Sincerely,    Dan Henry.
