Speech Technology / Balance Problem

I have been using Ultra Hal Text-to-Speech Reader for over a year now and have had very few problems. However, recently the speech is only coming out of the left speaker on my computer. This only happens when I use this program. The balance is fine for all other applications(including other text-to-speech programs that use the same AT&T voices).

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I love this program, but this problem is very annoying (my speakers are quite enough, only hearing out of one speaker makes the program unusable in some situations).
