Can¡¯t installed Hal Assistant completely

My OS is Chinese version Windows XP. When I installed Hal Assistant 6, it prompted: ¡°ERROR: Unknown return_code: FALSE_MAIN_LF_CORRUPT.¡±, and can¡¯t produce the authorization request code. It said need to install any non-MBCS language pack. But I have installed the English language pack by go to the "Regional and Language" applet in my control panel. Could somebody give me help?

Hi chaoyin.

Go to your regional options from control panel.

in general tab, choose English(United States)

then in the Language setting for system on same tab choose western Europe and United states as default.

go to input locales tab and choose [EN]English(United States) for keyboard layout.

click apply.
