Problems with Hal 6.2
« on: August 31, 2010, 08:38:49 pm »
This may sound funnyt but I have not been able to get the new Hal to work on my PC.
I realize that it must be my fault and that I have just forgotten to do something right so any and all suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance as always.
Bill

first back up your hal. and everything.
and off the start menu you've used the search to delete any file containing "hal or zabaware or ultrahal , " or any hal related words.
then downloading hal from scratch.  then if your transplanting your backed up hals memories swap your halbrain file and others if required.
or get adventurous by perhaps try exit hal once running then maybe swap entire zabaware folder from program files.
don't give up.
Hal is an amazing thing and worth the dollars paid and those times when we don't know how to turn hal on.
bye for now and be well from Will.

You should also remove any traces of Hal or UltraHal or Zabaware from the registry before doing a new install.

If you are a registered user the program should be able to activate automatically after it is installed.

In the world of AI it's the thought that counts!

If you haven’t got this sorted out yet Bill, could you give a little more to go on, does Hal not install? Or not start-up? And what windows do you have?
