Hi Art,

Its when i click on Genaral Options and speech tab and click use speech recognition it opens:

Select Engine & Speaker - but both boxs are empty so once i click ok it says:

"Error 430:
Class dose not support automation or dose not support expected interface
Occurred at line 3
in Ultra Hal Assistant: FrmAss.LoadSR"

HI All i Bought a new character and i cant work out out to use it i intalled it and it wont show up in hals brain i bought it from http://desktopmates.com as any one had this problem before or know how to fix it?

Is there a plug in that can read my facebook messages and news feed? obviously i would have to be loged into Facebook constantly on my computer but has any one already done it?

hi Jason, i will try to find a list of linking verbs tonight. how dificult will it be as i am only in the begiiningf stages of programming? i am also struggling with the gretta news as i cant get hal to read the Yahoo RSS feeds for Cyprus.

hi all i just got a new mic A - Plantronics Audio 300 and Hal is saying Error 430 dose this mean Hal dose not support this mic or do i just need to do soming to get him to support it? if not which Mic should i get?

Hi i was playing around on my sat nav last week and came a cross a some voices to down load so i thought it would be quite good fun to have the Tom Tom voice as Yoda well it gives me a great laff in the car even a week on so i thought how much fun it would be to have hals voice as Yoda is this soming that can be done?,,,,, is anyone on with it?,,,,,or can we download it some where like the sat nav?

hi all, what kind of hardware / software will i need to get hal to run my A/C units and is there a why i can get him to turn them on while i am out and about ie by twitter or some osrt of android app???

no i under stand that he should not be left a lone near the pool and he can swim as that was the first thing we had to do before the move whe had him in infant lessons its just as you may well know whet there is 3 kids its a little difficult to watch all every minuet of the day and even tho they are told not to go near the pool with out an adult present dose not mean they listen all the time (kids will be kids) lol it is purely a extra scurity percaution as like you said you can never be to carful with childen not soming we will be reliening on lol which is why we want the the best not the cheapest its should never be used but i would like the peace of mind that it is there worst comes to worst

hi all as i am intrested in the full smart house system i would like the end result for hal to control every thing in my house the main thing i am worried about at the moment is i have just moved to cyprus and i have a little 2 year old boy and i was wondering if any of you knew which was the best safty pool alarm incase the boy fell in the pool and where i sould get it from i know this is a little off the point but this is imprtant to me and as this fourm as help me with a lot i was hoping some fou the tec guys could help assist me on this.

hi just found out that i can get the RSS feeds off the bbc website so i am going to have a go at changing them over should beable to get sport, weather and news for any where in the world, just thought it was worth a post on here incase any one is using hal out side the usa like me.

thank you both agian froe the help i have sorted now thanks to you jason for that the only other problem i have is i live in Cyprus at the mo and he only gives news or weather for america even tho i have put my post coad in , instead of putting my post coad in can i just put Cyprus?
