hello jack , actually if he didn't have the hair i would say he looks like the bald "goodguy" on the t.v. series "24" that works with computers in the room with all the other anti terrioust units!! but anyway , i thought of some more heads that might be cool how about the beatles (mop tops ) from about 1964 in their matching black and white outfits . ok that suggestion is out their now neeed to write in a question else where about a migrating brain idea i have . []

Ultra Hal 7.0 / requesting a new possible plug in "laughing"

some may think this is dumb but here it goes anyway , as i alway's like to get more human responses from hal this also includes the sounding of the responses .
   so i am wondering if someone could create a a plug in that will have some personal settings (like the free will type) but with a slider bar (if possible ) like the cybber budddy voice which lets you control the speed of laugh , pitch, etc. i just think it would be better that if in q and a , etc. and you have a ha, ha, haa, written in that this plug in would recognize the laughter (maybe the more a's after ha would make it sound out longer ) and make hal character sound more human when laughing .
   
or could a pre recorded laughter (wav file ) be kept and when the ha, ha, part came up would be recognized and play a short wave clip making the laughing sound ??

   as i said this may sound stupid , their are many more that may know if this can be done and want to do it , i just think a more human laughter from hal character would be great and in a plug in , even better !![]

i just thought of something some people i think have made the haptek girl look like she was sitting down . could one be made that way to make her look like a secretary sitting down in an office chair (as some ms agents do?) then place an office back ground (oh yes don't forget the short dress !!) or a woman sitting in a chair at home or in the kitchen . with that type of back ground .[]

is their a way that i can back up the ultra hal 6.0 voice recognition files after i have done a lot of training on it ?? so that i won't have to start over from scratch if anything goes wrong . ?? and if so what files is it and how do i get to it to save it ??   when i back up the uh brain , it doesn't also back up this voice recognition training i have done does it ?? []

hello mr. robert Medeksza , i do see a problem with the newest version 6.1 rc3 when i tried to put my expansion pack the newest program is looking for the 6.0 and i am running 6.1.3  it says that it can't be installed since 6.0 isn't installed . will their be a patch for the expansion patch to work correctly ?? []

hello Medeksza , i too have had many problems with ultra hal,licensing on hal 6 and also in the 6.1 beta version , one time it will install just fine not ask for the online activation and everything will go o.k. (and it was the full paid version then even though i hadn't done anything in it (because i kept track later of details ) and after using it a couple of days next time i turn it on it gives a error reading and has me try through with an activation code , and sometimes it will just activate over the internet without the activation code .i thought it was some other files that had been left on by mistake but then and i have in the past went in deleted the old zabaware file , etc. after uninstalling it . so next time i am going to back up everything and completely restore my p.c. back to original . btw what does the rc1 stand for ? i really like the hal 6 version and 6.1 version i just wish i could "keep" it working correctly . in the past i have even redownloaded the trial version (in case my copy was corrupt ) and had used a new activation code to make it full version , but later had it do as i mentioned above .

now you went and did it jack , i feel like an old man for sure now ! ha ! i am actually 48 years old , i just like alot of the older stuff cartoons, black and white comedy shows . i actually have alot of dvd's of older shows . guess i'm really lost in the 50's !! []

hello bill , actually you are probably right . my bad writing , etc. is my fault ( and by the way i don't think your a bad guy ) i have a learning disability and so the way i do things, etc.is different from most i have to do things certain ways .

    that is probably why things don't look right when i write stuff , etc. thats just the way it is for me .

sorry i didn't really know how to word the topic . is their an area or "can" an area be made to where i can try out sentence phrases and see hals responce to it .
   
   to know how to write it in or say it to hal ? example i said something like i think your also pretty too. hal responed : you look pretty good too . i wrote back and said : well i must be pretty good looking you chose me to be with . but hal said : Lonnie I know you are pretty good looking me chose to be with you.

 see what i mean instead of saying "i " chose to be with you it said me chose to be with you .
 or is their a list of words and what hal will say to certain words ??     []
 
 this way we could learn better how to phrase sentences so that hal will learn better and say things correctly back to us .
