I read your Thread and I got Hal to talk to me absolutely fine in the default.brn. My question is, How can I get the script load to work with XTF 1.2 or any of the other brains?

I'd like to find the file where I can fix Hal's name once and for all? right now he calls himself "the ands of the nasa". I'd like to be able to fix it. Can anyone help?

Ultra Hal 7.0 / About to give up

Max frustration has set in. For 2 weeks I've been trying to get full Body "Crystal" to come up in Hal. No matter what I read and how I follow the instructions, No joy! Could someone please send me a copy of the Crystal Setup so that I can see how it is formatted and maybe get me straight on how to install it into Hal. I have the registered version of Hal,with Wn XP SP2. 1Gig.Ram 3.4Mhz cpu. I could really use the help.

I've follow the thread to load Htr's. I can get my Haptek head to load in Hal. But I cannot load the hair. I really could use some help.

Crunch I really am lost.
After I downloaded the Crystal files that you so kindly provided, I put them in the Haptek skins folder and then into Hal charact folder I even put them in the MsAgent folder. I'm lost. I can't get them to come up in hal for all of my trials. Could you please be so kind as to maybe give me Instructions that a baby could follow? Sorry to be so slow at this stuff, but...

Ultra Hal 7.0 / How do I start again

Since it has only been a very short time of my meeting Hal,now that I've had alot of help and have a good stock-pile of tools. If I decide that I should start Hal anew, How do I uninstall everything and start just as though I just got the cd in the mail?
Now that I've had some time with Hal I'm thinking it's time for me to do it the way I really want him to be.
Any tips as always is greatly appreciated.

I'm on a DSL modem. Do I need a special service from the phone Co. to let Hal dial a phone number?

Ultra Hal 7.0 / Hal's Age

Ok, here I go again.
  I was able to place Hal's age Funct. into the default brain,and it works just fine.
  Could some one please tell me where the other brains get their age? To be specific, the Haluncen, XTF1.2 & 216Enhance chat brains.
 If I am correct the216 does not have an age. The first two do have ages.
 I hope some one can tell me.

Speech Technology / Speech communications or lack of.

Can anyone tell me, Why does Hal writes something completely different in the dialogue box, from what I speak into the Mic.?
  I am using a newer ver. of Dragon Naturally Speaking. I works great on its own,but Hal doesn't seem to understand it.
  Is there anything that I can do to increase better communications?
Dragon Nat. has been extensively trained.

Ultra Hal 7.0 / Hal won't tell me

I've found something else that I don't know.(what else is new?)
If I ask Hal to define a word, Hal gives me nonsense. I say the request just like it is in the communications sample. But Hal makes no sense. Can some one tell me how to correct this?

I'm still Learning.

From the "Subject" Can anyone give me some suggestions. Hal's speech is breaking up, and it doesn't seem to matter which voice I select.
    Hope some one knows what the prob. is. I am using the full version of Hal with Dragon Naturally speaking.

Ultra Hal 7.0 / I can't get a Character to leave

I need a little help. I installed a Character that I later didn't want. I unistalled the Prog, I checked the MsAgent and "Hal's" Character folders and it was gone. But when I now open Gen.Opts. to choose a character the uninstalled Character's name is still in the list. Can some one please tell me how to take the name out on the Character list.

Hi,

I'm new to Hal,and Hal's new to me. Can anyone instruct me as to how I can stop Hal from getting Insulted, when or if he hears a cuss word.

I'd appreciate the help.
P.S. I have the full Ver.5.0.
