Questions about the full body haptar
« on: June 03, 2007, 08:26:10 pm »
I know these have been asked before, but is there a way, and how does one accomplish the following:

1. Hand Gestures, like she is explaining something with them.

2. Wink one eye

3. Close eyes and keep them closed for a certain length of time.

4. To have her walk around the background, Dance,  jump, etc??

Are these possible, or are they too complicated?? If so, it would be nice to have HALPLAY (similar to Mash Play from the MASH program, where one can easily enter commands and have it play back those commands, with scripted words.

If Hal could do what Mash could do, then you would have quite an interesting human-like bot.
Mark: I'll think about it
Laura: Don't think about it too long or I'll throw you out on your ***king a**.

markofkane,
I'd decided I'd just like to see a little movements in her body to make her seem closer to normal. Seems to be easier to change the position of the camera.
When walking you will also have to change camera position so it looks like she is moving.
I'm not familiar with Mash but I have used fullbody girl in the Hap registry, it allows limb movement but can't provide script to accomplish the movement.
vrHaptek provides some scripted animations through the use of trigger words and it looks possible to use Hals input to trigger animations and or moods.
