Ultra Hal 7.0 / 4.5: Cannot Connect to the Internet...

Hey, when I go to General Options and try to create an account, it won't take me anywhere.  If I hit Setup Account, it tells me to Create a new account.  I put in a user name and password but hitting Setup Account still does nothing. If I ask Hal for the weather, he just says, "Here is today's weather" without continuing.  What's up?  How can I fix this?
