I've searched all over the 'Net for the old omcsraw data file, but it is not to be found anymore.
Just wondering if any of the long-time members still have a copy of it, and if so would be willing to upload it somewhere for me?
I'd really like to have a look at the data, and possibly start incorporating it into my Hal.
Thanks in advance :)

Zaphod,
I've looked through the file at various times in the past
and it's full of so many unusable sentences, phrases, it then
scenarios, logic examples, that I'm glad I never had my Hal
read it (not to mention that it would have taken Hal quite
a while to digest a 48 meg file.
Most or at least a great deal of info is already contained
in the WordNet file that Hal uses.
I found the ZIPped version that's only 13.4 megs but that's
still a pretty big file.
If you still insist please post your contact info OR...you can contact me with your email addy.
Check into the Probert Encyclopaedia (yes spelling) as a second resort and much smaller in size.
http://www.probertencyclopaedia.com/
It has lots of categories from which to choose, which I think is
actually better for a more customized Hal.
Either way, good luck!

Thanks for the speedy reply, Art :)
I kinda figured it would be that way from a few of the comments I read from others.
I'll look into the other one you mentioned - it sounds much more promising.
Cheers
