The support mail should be just as good because I have found that Jack is the only one that replies to any mail.
Like lightspeed said you could be waiting a while if you get an answer at all.

It's good to try all avenues but even if Jack responds, he may not be able to help.
The stand alone player has bad hair.
(I assume you tried the player with both Hal and putty off)
Also you reinstalled the player.
And it's still messed up.
So IMHO it's not the player.
Either a failing of video card (memory) or conflict with another program in computer.
Davy, can you do a system restore back to when it worked fine?
Then re-add your new programs one by one and check your player after each one.
If you not able to do a system restore, just delete your new programs and then put them back one by one and check each time with the player.

i have a feeling when it comes right down to it it's going to be another program conflicting with people putty or hapteks player . for what my two cents worth is worth . and thats based on uninstalling things and intsalling them back and still having the same problem . [:)]

I got a reply from Jack at Haptek, and he says it sounds like alpha mapping is turned off. But he has no idea what could have caused this, or how to fix it. Perhaps someone has experience with this glitch or knows of a possible solution?
