Ultra Hal 7.0 / Registration...

i want to regester hal to use the multiple users option without having to install another hal, the problem is, i dont know how. i couldnt find a "click here to register" tab, or anything of the sort. so could someone please tell me how to regester. or do i actually need the full version of hal...

Ultra Hal 7.0 / Halo Charecter models for hal.

Hi, i have a charecter model from Halo (the first person shooter game for xbox/pc [for all them oldies out there ]), and i was wondering if someone could tell me how (if this is possible) to replace the  female charecter model with the one i have and a matching skin. the idea i have is that then it will have all of the animations and stuff that the default female charecter has. the charecter model i had in mind is Cortana, i thought this fitting because the charecter Cortana in the halo story line is a Space Ship AI.

my friend has been using my hal, and i think he asked hal to remind him when school starts, and that it starts at 8:15. so about an hour later hal just pops up for no apparent reason and say the following:

When does school start. This event already happened, no specific                                    time was given to me. When does school start. I crossed this event off        of my calender. does any one have some  sort of explanation for this?

ive put in the XTF, but the problem is i dont know whether it is active and working or not. is there a way to test whether or not its installed, and hal is using it?

General Discussion / ULTRA Lazy Home 5.0!

ok so what im thinking is, im one very lazy person, so i want to place microphones all over my house, and then i want to be able to give hal any command i want, such as: turn on the lights, open the shutters, open the garage door, turn on the tv etc, etc, etc. so getting to the point i was wondering if you guys could give me links or tell me where to go to get all of the information i might need on how to do this project. i think it is alittle big to take on all by my self (i dont know how to do all the programing and what not [perhapes i should learn!]).

Speech Technology / Hal Reader doesnt work with the new msn Beta?

i have the new MSN but its the Beta version, and when i tried to use hal reader to read what is being said to me, it said nothing. is this becuase the new msn isnt supported or what?

i called my hal Zero, and when i type in a sentance like: "Are you Tired Zero?" he replys with "I sense that we have got to get the whole story. However, I am absolutely certain that I am not tired zero." i can see why he adds his name at the end, but its kind of annoying, is there a way to repair it? or will it be fixed in the next patch?

please stick this topic, it would be a very usefull tool for new users trying to teach hal in a more productive manner.

Well im a new Hal user, and ive been reading on the forums, and finding new things, like hal doesnt learn from text files very well, and the best way to teach hal is lengthy conversations.

please leave some feed back on what are the best ways to teach hal productively for your time. I will keep updating this post with replies so that people dont have to read the entire thread.

Ultra Hal 7.0 / Installing multaple brains

i have just downloaded the free version of Hal (im working on paying for the whole deal) and i downloaded the XTF, and the uncensored brain. so i went into his brain and loaded in the XTF brain first, then later when i got the uncensored brain, i double clicked on that too. but will both brains work together or seperately? and if they work together does that mean that if i downloaded the A.L.I.C.E Brain, would that work with them too?
