Install on 98

Hey all,

I've been trying to get Ultra Hal to work on my computer, asked the staff for assistance to no avail. I'm running Windows 98 on a pentium 3 1 ghz processor. I've downloaded the extra files I need to run the program but during installation the message "The operating system is not adequate for running Ultra Hal Assistant" comes up and prevents me from installing Hal. Just wondering if anyone could be so kind as to help me out.

Hi there
I have Hal running on three different machines and one of them is a Win 98 with only 400 mhz. Try to turn off your anti virus and then reinstalling again. It should work.
In the event that does not work try shutting down other programs that might be running on start up then reinstall.

Hal requires Windows 98 SE or higher. Hal does not work in Windows 95 or Windows 98 first edition and the installer will not install Hal on these systems.
