Windows 7 and old computers

Thank you Datahopa, and thanks One for your input as well, yes I did upgrade my memory 2GB's I had the CPU ever since I had the PC though. No upgrade there. I tried the Windows 7 before and the computer only started up half the time and the icons where gone on the main screen. I couldn't do anything on that thing. I hope they work the bugs out of it before they put it out for purchase. I had to ask Dell to help me get the thing off my computer the time I tried it. That was when it first came out for trial and to help Microsoft try to get the bugs out. I'm going to read up on how to get the OS off my system if I try it again, this time. I better, cause I don't have the Dell warranty help anymore. They would try to charge me for help. Well, this has been helpful in letting me see that I better wait until it is out for purchase to try and get it. I'm worried that the same thing will happen, and I won't have a computer. Thanks guys.
