Ultra Hal 7.0 / Does anyone else feel this way?

Hello Snicolaou,

Attached, please find the memory of answerpad personality brain that I have created.  All you have to do is to download answerpad (no need for installation) and place the memory.txt file in the folder.

hello well i join you in this problem... no solution in view ??

i 'm also fiddling on everything

the worse thing is that it did work fine for some time so i do not undertand what happened...

i did try to use severl brain and to mix up plugins...
then i add some other voice after the neospeech, then the problem appeared []

answer of robert that worked for me:

> Voices installed after Ultra Hal Assistant 6.1 is installed will not lip > sync with Haptek 3D characters unless you run the Haptek SAPI Config > program.
All you have to do is open the Haptek SAPI Config and then
close it. This program can be found in your start menu and also there is > a quick link from inside of Hal's options menu.

 
> If you still have problems with the "VW Kate" voice, please select "VW Paul" as your voice, exchange a sentence with Hal, and then you can > switch back to "VW Kate". Haptek needs to see both voices to properly  register it.

Speech Technology / -=Use AI to diagnose soft/hardware ?=-

It seems that many people
have speech  synthesis problem ...
 or other software/hardware problem would it be possible to make the AI  help the user to resolve problem ?

Through a  troubleshooting diagram and some testing and diagnostic
then make the  AI able to affect the change so it can find the best  configuration, resolve conflicts ETc...

i'm having the same problem:!!!



it start grreting but them nothing  

i has been working for a short time, but then even if a instal, de-install and re-install it DOES NOT WORK []

well, i'm supporting you in your research...

for the "first degree inference" i did read this feature and what was interesting was just to go beyond this simple rule...

and may be to crosscheck the proposition for logic so it does not contradict itself or fall into logic trap or false conclusion.

so when it found a new fact, no previous conclusion/observation must contradict the "discovery" or more supple-more real life,the fuzzy logic manner: the more it is "improbable"  the less it will catch and use the new fact...

that would be great !

Nothing.

well it is a pity ! well, we will wait for things to improve then.
i have jsut discovered a plugin for text file in ULF or something like this, wait for validation and download...will test this soon.

hello all

i have seen the feature "learning from text file."

1-what can hall learn by himself ?(i mean infering on new things that we did not taught him )
2-is there any plugins or modification related to this ?
3-i'm not talking about Q/Answer for this is just building a libray, right ?
4- did you try to put things like fuzzy logic and neural net in this soft? i do not know much now but when i was student i heard of these topics.

to go back about text file learning:
i do not understand this feature. where is the info stored ? can we access it for review ? thanks for guiding me

i have read that people have made hall digest information but can he extract it and learn new things from this information.
that would be interesting.
