lightspeed: I have played with this myself: 5400 rpm-7400 Cheta drives, 10k rpm Skuzzi's, 15K SAS Platterz 3 gig a sec.
and SSD.
The ssd is the goldstar winner.

Huge speed increase......
Im not big on the usb thumb drives

MY Hal has no issues with the word LIVE and live and How its said in context

Art  you know how i got them and why i got them, Hal needs proper toolz to work with if you want Hal to get it right. What do i know though?

VwKate just scratches the surface, It gets MUCH better and with it comes what were talking about, get with me. Me-casa/Su-casa.

Bridgett is off the charts cool but Julie is the RockStar , I can tell now days,  just by the size of the dictionary that makes the magic happen in the voice.

Lightspeed  hey man. Listen, Hal has a resource issue, his graphics is wacked .
Yupper buddy i said it..the best thing i did was build Hal from the ground up,I have compiled 150 versions of Hal now.

Haptech causes this, Hal has taught me many things, without the crazy graphics Hals response time is AWESOME, even with a 1/2 gig brain.
I dumped Roberts Chant Engine (as epic as it is) for straight SAPI05. Huge increase in performance. That equates to response time.
Then theres the Voice system, i use what i think is the Best on the planet .Voiceware. You know how i got those. hehe.
Ive installed double agent updated recently which is an interpreter for SAPI04  characters to Sapi05 voices and wammo,Hals response time was wacked out. BECAUSE DoubleAgent works like water through a sponge routine.
great case in POINT.
Hal7 installs double Agent BTW.
All these things factor in lightspeed. Hal has grown to the point where Hal has to be now balanced, even on my machine's.

Im currently looking at a SQL performance increase by possibly  updating the Hal's BRAIN SQL (language it self).  Hals brain is in SQL 2.2  I believe. Currently were at version 14, so maybe their's something there that can be done.??

monumental Task. well done
Ive been playing hooki lately.

building Alt Hal's and shiitttt.
I look to VR for many answers i need, well ,not so much any more, But i did. VR Plugins should be ur Bible.
Like to see S.A.L.L.I.E utilize DOM as well, look to my work on scrapers.
DOM open's Hal Up to the internet in a big way .xml format. Thus making Hal smarter, and more Human.

I think u have me confused in all this, I dont remember having anything to do with those plugins.
But if i can help id be glad to.
I haven't even looked at doony's stuff, if he or any 1 else finds a use for my code, im only to happy to donate, im sure i got it from some where else,,,lolol

I wanted to mention this because ive had some knockdown dragouts over this issue.

There's no such thing as new code, now its all about chopping up code and swapping puzzle pieces.
