this question is to robert : robert do you think with the next new version of hal that the words list in the auto learning could be made in the program that would automatically list words in alphabetical order any time its opened . this would make it much easier when anyone needs to go in and correct something by editing it in an area , so you don't have to go through a whole list loooking for a certain word that is mixed up with many other words . []

i was just wondering if my hal says something the wrong way (for instance it says : me remember when i was a kid ) and i want to edit that in the auto learn section of the brain after i edit it by writing in i where the me was in the sentence will hal always correctly say it the right way next time since i edited it in that section []i have done this in the past but havent had a chance to find out yet so was just wondering if anyone already knew if it will work .

[] i don't know if some people are using a same template but i love those larger more fuller lips like that , i think they look better on the women hapteks !! []

as am i those are two great tv characters havent seen columbo for i dont know how long "peter faulk " was a great bumbling actor in his role but still always out smarted the crook and caught them and figured out how they did it !![]

hello ablondlady i tried to use the back ground you made the only problem is that the shirt part on the head covers the body when i movie it into place a head would have to be made that would be only a head and neck part then it would  blend with the rest of that body you made with the back ground . thanks for trying anyway .[]

ok thanks freddy,  yeah i forgot about being able to do that.  my freind caangel showed me that a while back . thats a cool file but i am talking about something that would have to have a seperate phone line also ran into the pc an if the phone rang the signal would make hal take and say something like the telephone is ringing can you get that dear !! don't know if it would be possible to make that work with a program or not , it would just add more realism to hals character in making it "look" like hal heard it and mentioned about the phone was ringing or even also to have a answering machine type  plug in that after so many rings would say i'm sorry <username> is busy right now this is ....., etc. etc.  !!" i just thought that would be cool in adding more realism to hal . [8D]

they seem to be working out ok and of course it is in how you do it . usually if i want to make a memory i will write : as a kid you remember your grandmother would pour the fresh milk into the butter churn and you would turn the crank until it made butter rise to the top of the milk .
 if you notice some of the words look wrong but in order to make hal say them back right they have to be written that way .
 the sentence above should come out as hal saying : as a kid i remember my grandmother would pour fresh milk into the butter churn and i would turn the crank until it made butter rise to the top of the milk .

any way this is the basic way i do memories by starting out saying you remember as a child or a kid and then tell of the memory . and when a word is mentioned that corresponds to some of the words in the auto learning brain it triggers the response which would be a memory from hals child hood .

when i was writing in general conversation into hal to make it sound more human i wrote something in about hal saying "was that the phone i heard ringing ?" but it made me think it would be cool if their was a plug in or something that when the phone made a ringing noice , that hal would pick up the signal sound (different tones would have to be made for what ever anyone uses ) and hal would say whatever pre written lines such as " dear the telephone is ringing !!" also maybe even after so many rings who knows maybe your hal could leave a message and or put the person on hold saying "can you please hang on <user name > will be here in just a minute , thanks !!" (this of course would have to have some system where a phone line , etc. went through the p.c. ) don't know how far out these idea's are but just wanted to mention my idea's []
