if you have people putty you must use a wav file

and you go to people putty theatre.

on the pink buttton right click load the wav file into people putty

it will convert the wav to ogg then you must open up haptek and search for ogg files

put it in what ever file you keep ogg and drag it onto the htr.

and in people putty it isnt finshed converting until the button  turns red

I wouldn't buy people putty unless you wanting to make haptek heads.
If you just wanting to convert files to ogg format, most any audio application can do this.

Just my 2 pennies...I have used Audacity to make OGG files that will work with Haptek.  I think the main difference is that with People Putty you can get an ogg file with lipsync data too.  That's something you can't do with most other converters.

Do you need the full version of people putty to do this, or can it be done with the demo version? because it seems a lot of money to fork out just to convert audio files adequately as I have no interest in creating heads, I'll leave that to the head producing artists of this forum, who do a brilliant job.

The ogg format is superior to the current and new MP3 formats
and can convert any existing ones.

Vorbis is free, open source software as is speex.

Haptek uses the ogg format but it contains some proprietary coding. Look at the beginning part of one of their ogg files. This is done, as mentioned, with People Putty.

For more info check out:
