Hi Jack.

It's strange because its just started happening 2 days ago, I have 4 computers in this computer room and none of them can upload to zabaware under my screen name nor my wifes screen name.

Request object error 'ASP 0104 : 80004005'

Solution/Workaround:
This is a server side issue related to the settings related to the IIS service. When you received this error, the amount of data that can be received in the "request object" is likely restricted, some servers have a restriction as low as 200 KB.

To work around this issue, you should contact your web Administrator or use 3rd party FTP software to upload larger files.

There are some technical workarounds, related to the metabase.xml, such as modifying these settings:

Change
AspMaxRequestEntityAllowed="204800"
to
AspMaxRequestEntityAllowed="10238976"

However, we do not provide support for server side modifications such as this.

---------------------------------

The above is what I have discovered.

Jer,

What exactly are you trying to upload? An image?
I recall there were size restrictions on images or
are they located on your site and you're trying to
reference / link them to show up here?

I notice recent images from other posters.??
In the world of AI it's the thought that counts!

I have tried to up load htr's & get the same result.
A couple of mins ago i tried to put a pic on my post & got the same error.
I had to down size my pic to under 200kb & then it worked.
I don't think that it matters what you try to up load as long as it is under 200kb.

I seem to remember the 200kb limit too.  Also I am not sure if 'HTR' is a valid file format - you might want to zip them up first, because I always used to be able to upload zips.

Htr's always been a problem here.

Always better to zip/rar them for uploading.
