Arakus. Thanks buddy. I wasn't thinking. I'm tryin to do so many things with Hal. I fixed it. I found a "Hide" file. so I just copied it,replaced the object with the glasses and it worked in the script.
I like the new outfits you posted. Is there a fast way to have her change into them while Hal's up and running? If I put them in the haptek player... They only effect the player.

Lucius,
without scripting the fastest way to change outfits in Hal would be to use the HapLogCtrl.txt , have it in the root C: and when you open Hal it'll open the console window then all you do is drop the skin on the console window.

put this HapLogCtrl.txt in c:

I don't take any credit for the HapLogCtrl.txt, but yer welcome for the info.

Jim, thank you, I don't think I'm really any more talented than most here, in fact I can bet that there are several here that can put me to shame with ease.

Lucius, thank you, but actually yes I am just learning, I admit I do have alot of years experience with computers, and have had to learn Basic, DOS, Windows etc. so I have a head start on some, but I still have quite a bit to learn, just like doing the haptek accessories, I do have a little experience with 3D in Poser, and UV Mapper, but Haptek uses 3DS Max, and that I'm very new too, and I don't know half of the advanced techniques needed yet to make everything perfect, for example the collisions with clothing I have yet to figure out how to correct.

I thank you all tho for your wonderful remarks. I hope I'm able to keep up that appearance :)

Is there a place I can go to that explains in detail how to add skins, hair & jewllery to a already created full body htr file.

The skins seem to be a jpeg or the like and the jewllery and hair seem to be htr files in themselves. How do you apply a sunglasses htr to a full body character htr?

The image files for the skins, are they changed to some other format so they can be applied to the htr full body female file?

thanks

cadmar,
there are all kinds of posts regarding this, but if you're using the Haptek player all you do is drop the .jpg or .htr on the player or command console and it will automatically add it. If you are talking in Hal, well you can add commands into the brain, create .hap files and do it that way, or do a search in the forums for HapLogCtrl and you find out how to add the command console to Hal, then just drag & drop there. Hope this helps.

You are welcome Heather,
Haptek is very touchy with their Licensing, in fact the Accessory Converter that I purchased which normally should grant a lifetime License, by their EULA.pdf they supplied with it it states 1 Year, that would mean I can only use it for 1 year then I need to purchase another License, which is rediculous at $100.00 a License, I'm hoping it's just a typo. But anyways that's how they are, so I'd be very carefull on what you put on your ftp in regards to Haptek stuff. The only Haptek stuff that I post are Items they give free for download and Haptek Accessories that I personally created with tool that I purchased.
