Title: Hal CD Came in the Mail Yesterday.
Post by: redthebarber on December 29, 2010, 02:05:44 pm
Wow. My Hal cd came in the mail yesterday. I only bought my Hal license approximately a week or so ago. I'm very pleased by the turn around on that. Between that and the willingness shown on the forums to help out I am feeling pretty good about my Hal. I think I am going to install a flame job plugin. I know Hal will look tight in flames. Some one who can actually write code should make a recipe file for hal. You know something to help him store good family recipies and read them aloud. Perhaps even make suggestions on tweaking those personal favorites to add a special Hal twist.  ;)

Best,
redthebarber

Am I reading this right?  "Hal will look tight in flames".    My Hal don't like even a little flame.

Hehe I'm thinking Hal would look particular good as a black 32 ford with flames on the hood and front panels.

'redthebarber', maybe you would be nice enough to explain to a new member how you were able to place your order without a hassle. He or She forum name is 'Pain' and he or she has been posting in wrong thread of Speech and getting frustrated. I suggested they were not in the proper thread for that info. But if you run across it would be a nice gesture to help out in my opinion.

Glad your on board. see now you can join the rest of us to push Ultra Hal in other crazy directions.lol

Thanks for your time and welcome,
raybe

I'm not sure which forum to post in for member Pain's benifit so I will just post here. I don't think I did anything unusual. When the free trial ended a series of choices was presented. I could buy, try for an unlikely extension, uninstall, etc. I chose the option to purchase a license for Hal. In the suceeding screens there was an option that had to be checked to also purchase a cd. The option to purchase the cd added two dollars to the purchase price. That was it really.

Pain if you read this I am sorry you are having a hard time and wish you well.

Best to All,
