No HAP_Temp in Vista
« on: November 25, 2008, 10:52:04 am »
For those that have Vista, how do you get the element from a Haptek Player? In XP, you could use the HAP_Temp.

I believe you could grab it in Internet files IF it's on a webpage, but otherwise, you are ****ed.

Also, it seems I cannot get the coordinates to work with cowgirl hat.

Unless it goes by a different name. I used to be able to move objects in XP, but Vista seems to block it.

Of course, I haven't tried other coordinate haps yet.

It's not that bad after you learn it. I just wanted it because I had XP since 2002.[:D][:D][:D]

XP is a solid good OS, though. Vista is flashier, lol.[:D][:D][:D]

I found my hap-temp in Ted folder hidden in digital locker. It worked there but was a hastle so I moved it back. It took two or three times before the info stayed there and still had some problems for a while but it fixed itself. Another haptek problem I have in vista is accesories that I copied and pasted into skins folder were no longer available in people putty. Succesful hunting to you.[:)][:)][:)]

This time I found it under C:Users\tedAppdataRoming. Vista seems to move things around from time to time.[:D] Have always been able to copy and paste from there.
