Sorry to hear about Thom. Condolences to family and friends.

i was so saddened to hear about Tom. I knew him here and in real life but we had drifted apart. A secondlife friend told me about him today. I signed his guest book for the funeral home. The world has lost a good man and a true talent. You will be missed Tom.

I am saddened to hear about
Tom.
I can only hope that his involvement in our online communities over the last few years had enriched his life in some way. I know that he has enriched our lives.

Well, I am Tired of having this page and the Obituary open, not knowing what to say or do, just staring.
I had my chance, laziness took me.

I only knew him through a couple of forums, but he would help anyone
whenever he could & that shows what kind of man he was.
Sadly missed.

I first met Tom here in this Zabaware Forum in 2005, and after a few months he also joined the Virtual Humans Forum, where he was one of the most active contributors.
I never met him personally, but we exchanged ideas on these forums and in private mails so many times that I can really say that today I've lost one of the best friends I've got in my life.
He has passed away but his creations and ideas will stay with us forever.
If someone has info about his domain http://www.charctercreationsanddesignworks.us/ please let me know. I would be honoured to acquire his domain and host his site on my server forever.

When reading testimonials, we just can be sure that the end of his poor life was great in SL.
Thanks to all people who will keep his work alive, or at least archived.
Sad day...

OMG! :(
Was only speakig to him a few days. He seemed so full of adventure and was looking towards the future after his tragic loss.
I'm lost for words, a great friend has been taken from us.
Hope he has at last found some peace.

This is one of the saddest days in 3D modeling. GamerThom was one of the most up-to-date head maker of his time, then as he was getting worse in health I came along. He saw something in me and shared his website and even personal records through his website, with the chance of me ripping him off if I was not so nice, and no one had ever done that for me before. I never even met him personally. But he let me reside on his site for about a year and a half, or more, then things started going down hill in his life. His mom was dying and he needed money to take care of her, so he asked if I would try and find my own site, cause he was paying for that out of the goodness of his heart. Then we parted, and he got a involved in Second Life. After that we emailed once in a while but not daily like we had for a year or more. I missed that closeness. He was a very good man that really knew how to make you laugh, even though his life was not so good. GamerThom will be missed in the 3D world very much, and though I never enjoyed or thought Second Life was healthy, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that they lost a good friend there too. Tom I hope to see you in Paradise![:(]

I was glad to see Thom again recently, only for him to be taken away so suddenly. I wish you could have done all the things we were talking about Thom. We always valued your friendship and guidance. Rest in Peace old pal.

Very sad news.
May Tom rest in peace with no more pain.
God bless.

He was a very gifted artist and an asset and friend to many in this community. He will definitely be missed.

He was one of the first people to help me out when I started at this forum. Terribly sad. A true loss to all.
