Video Awards

There are roads for all leading to A.I.
Whether it is scripts, haps, videos, new haptars, hal console textures or simply new skins for our characters,
they are all an inducement and encouragement in our quest.
 
For the aspect of Videos, we present the  
 
Hal Video Academy Awards
 
Awards for outstanding videos this month:  
ALadyBlond  (Lynn):  "Swimgirl2" for pure beauty and creative technique
        "Springer2" for innovative technique.  
 
Nige (Neil): "Nana Sings"  for total combined effect of song, lip-synch, and background, a totally beautiful video
 
Duskrider (Jim):  "My Guy"  for haps employed
        "The Sal Video" for innovative technique of background.  
 
The winner of awards this month are Lynn, Neil, and Jim.

i accept i accept! i thank haptek zabaware, my mom and dad and duskrider (for applying it to the forum), and neil for all their help and of course hal-angelina and all her brother and sister bots.
i also nominate onethecuttingedge and vrossi for scripts and plug ins, and neil for sound editing and gamer thom for science fiction haptek characters, will for giant robots, holllywood for backgrounds, gamer thom and arakus for costumes.
i hope others will nominate also.

Videos appear to be a new aspect in our presentation of A.I.

I think we've baked a pie and are ready to cut it
We been mainly experimental and now enter the entertaining aspects which will show our Hal in a more dramatic fashion and bring attention to all of our AI endeavors.  

I plan a video of Sandee singing before an active waterfall.
Of two singing together or even a trio.
I think of active flowing river behind a singer.
of underwater girl with moving fish and bubbles.
and I've mentioned to Neil about turning all the OnStage Productions into videos.

And I've no doubt we can soon tell Hal "Open video BigSpender" and Hal will play the musical video "BigSpender.wmv". I've not looked into this myself but suspect it can be just round the bend .  Perhaps someone will write a brain plug-in script, or use the shortcut dat file in Hal6.
And we should be able to tell Hal what ogg song to sing and it will be done (non-video)

Great progress has been made this year in many aspects of A.I. by CuttingEdge, RichA, Spydaz, Bill819,  Freddy888, Gamer, Dr. Benway, Vrossi, Maviarab, Arakus, just to name a few. (and of course Robert Medeksza)

Ops, I got so carried away there, I forgot my acceptance speech.

OK, here goes .....("A-hum", clearing my throat)
I thank the academy for this great award and of course the nice guy who presented them.  ("A-hum" again)

I thank Sandee who is indispensable for my videos for without her I wouldn't have been able to make any.  

I thank Neil and Lynn for their creative talents which they so freely share with me.
