Hal for Law
« on: March 22, 2011, 06:04:54 pm »
Has anyone programmed a hal Brain to understand Law concepts. I am currently enrolled in law school and looking to train Hal to understand law.

macwest,
OTC did a lot of specialized programing for hal ages ago, not sure if he went into law though.  I think it is old enough not to be useful in this brain but again they have come up with ways to get the info into other brains.
Hal learns from talking to him and if you talk about what you are learning he should pick up quite a bit.

@ macwest,

The same this is likely being posted by your professors on a forum elsewhere about you and their other law students!! :o ;D

Welcome.
Simply by chatting to Hal (sometimes several times about the same topic) is the best way to get Hal to understand said topic.

While it might be difficult to have Hal become an expert system, Hal can learn a great deal of information.

I still don't think that Hal would be able to pass the Bar Exam. ;D
In the world of AI it's the thought that counts!
