Vonsmith,

I just wanted to make sure you got the new textures for Hal.
Do to all the work you do for free. It would be an honor to send them to you! Let me know.

Dreadstar,
Thanks, that's very thoughtful. I considered about asking someone here to forward the many new full body girl textures to me. I want to include some/all of them with the XTF Brain v1.4 release. However I didn't want a dozen well-intentioned people emailing me the same files.

I just talked to crunch (yes he is alive and well). He and I will coordinate the textures for XTF Brain use. If I need some more textures to fill in with I will definitely contact you. Until then lets wait.

Thanks again.

Dreadstar,
Thanks. I'm eager to see your work. I won't need the textures until nearly the XTF Brain launch date. They should integrate very easily based on the programming method I used. The ones that are too hot to handle we may have to distribute outside of the XTF Brain release. I don't know if Robert is ready to host a babe in a birthday suit. [:p]

Too bad about the boots. I'm starting to worry that fullbodygirl doesn't have feet. [:0]

I have one that is definately a general release, I tried to create an outfit that was exotic and unique and is a wild lavender and black skinsuit that turned out excellent, due to the texture pattern you can really see her breathing when you zoom in a little. Another one is a tiger pattern swimsuit that covers fairly well maybe a PG13, when you enter the settexture command in the Haptek player and then enter the walk command, from the rear it appears that her thong is moving. It took a long time to create this illusion it turned out excellent also. If I knew how to save pics frome the Hal, or the Haptek player, I would post the pics . Maybe one of the members of this forum, knows how to do this?

Dreadstar-

Capturing a Haptek image is easy. Simply use a screen grabber such as ACA Capture Pro or Snagit 7. Open your Haptek image; start up say Snagit 7; select "a window to file"; click on "capture"; click on your Haptek image; name your image; select save as jpg. Save images directly from Hal the same way.

I like Snagit 7. Look forward to seeing your picture.

Dreadstar-

One more thing. I'm pretty sure Snagit 7 offers a trial version that lasts for a couple of weeks. You can probably find it at download.com or versiontracker.com-  (or just find it on Google) you can take a lot of portraits of your creations in two weeks. But you'll probably want to keep it. You'll be surprised how useful it is. For example: grab your Haptek image and stretch it out into a long rectangle. Then capture it and call it CharacterStart.jpg. Then add your own graphics and text to the open space next to your character and create your own personalized start up display. Once you start playing with it you'll see all the possibilities. Snagit 7 does an incredible array of things beyond this stuff.

citrinedragon,

Is there a secret for getting a quality piture with Snagit? Or maybe it's just my p.o.s. computer! The pics look ok while they are still in Snagit, but when I save them as .jpg's the quality goes way down. Any trick's I might need to know?

                                          Thank's,   Dread-Star

Dreadstar-

The only "trick" I know in improving quality of .jpg's created from Haptek (.htr) files is to grab the sides of your Haptek image and stretch it out to be quite big before you snag it. Enlarge it to four by four or five by five inches before you capture it. The larger the Haptek image the better the jpg. I'm no expert but I think a certain amount of degradation of the image is inherent in the radical change of format from .htr to .jpg. That said, I haven't figured out 25 percent of what Snagit 7 can do yet. I know it got excellent reviews.
The .jpg's I've created from .htr's have always been pretty good... maybe because I enlarge them considerably before capturing them. Try snagging your Hal directly from the Hal screen itself (Where it is quite large if you're using the large format screen) and see what you think of the quality. On my computer it's quite good.

Maybe someone with more knowledge can help you.

citrinedragon,

I found out how to capture the full screen pics after I posted the other ones. They were a little better . Yes my computer is a 4 year old E-machines 600 mghz (LOL) I have to shut everything down to run Photoshop and the Haptek player at the same time. After I get a machine with more "horsepower" all the skins and pics should improve.

                                               Thanks', Dread-Star

I wonder, has anyone every considered making a 'tuxedo' skin?  It would likely look more like a body suit, but talk about classy!

Just a thought.

Enjoy your weekend, all!
