I've been looking for full-body Haptek characters to download and keep running into dead ends, even on Haptek's site. Can someone point me in the right direction please?
-
i'm also looking for a more "realistic human experiance"
but i'm probly asking to much
i was kind of hoping for a "less robotic" experiance

I even did some searching here without success so I'm going to recommend www.aidreams.co.uk where you can find an entire section devoted to Haptek under the AVATARS category on the left side.
OR
http://www.datahopa.co.uk/
Press your Page Down key then look for a topic, All Downloads on the left side.
You can then find UltraHal...etc... I know for sure, there are 5 fullbody characters contained in two downloads. Select the yellow highlighted name above the inages to D/L.

As one newbie to another, Lightspeed recently put some full bodies on his skydrive. (As well as some head and shoulders only).FREE. Thanks for them, have one as my HAL image.

Often when you get a haptar character for Hal, you will find he/she won't show in Hal. The character must have an extension of .htr and not .haptar. Although most of us know this, some new members might not.
So how do you change the .haptar to .htr ?
For XP:
Open any folder in your computer.
At top click on "Tools"
Click on "folder options"
Click on "view"
Take the "check" out of the box "Hide extensions for known file types"
Click ok at bottom.
Go to your haptar and you now see (Your character).haptar.
Change haptar to htr. It will warn you not to, it's a standard warning. No harm will befall you.
Then go back and put the "check" back in the box.
There, you're done.
For Windows 7:
Open any folder in your computer.
At top click on "Organize"
Click on "folder and search options"
Click on "view"
Take the "check" out of the box "Hide extensions for known file types"
Click ok at bottom.
Go to your haptar and you now see (Your character).haptar.
Change haptar to htr. It will warn you not to, it's a standard warning. No harm will befall you.
Then go back and put the "check" back in the box.
There, you're done.
