if the ogg file has been created in people putty it will work in hal all you have to do  to test the file is have your hal open and drag the file onto the haptek console . if it is a working file hal will lipsync to it automatically. also if you do a search for ogg files you will find a lot of information that neil, dusky , myself and others have placed on the forum.~~alady

Or you can make a hap file and use the \load command:

Code: [Select]
#HaptekSDK Version= 1.0  HeaderLines= 2 HapType= command FileType= text
#Name= haptek_scene Icon= [ websters_icon ]

\load [file=[myfile.ogg]]

then save it out as 'somename.hap' and either drop it onto the player or load the hap from within the hal script.

Ahh an Ogg is a fabled creature, living mostly in the highlands of Scotland laddie, but it's been years since I laid eyes on one....ooooohhh an OGG...

OGG is like MP3 - its just another (and some think better) way of encoding audio.  If you have an ogg file you can drop it on the Haptek Player and it will play it.

Wasn't there some Oggs in "Lord of the Rings"?

or maybe they didn't call them Oggs, but they looked like them.

AS far as i know there are 2 types of ogg files.
The normal one is like an mp3 which is a condensed file.
Then you have the one you can create in people putty.
The people putty ones are the only ones that will make your model lip-sync.
The lip-sync isn't that good though, if you want it better you will have to pay Haptek 100$ to get the lip-sync editor which refines the mouth movements.
I was going to add a short clip of a song for you to try but as usual on this forum it will not load.
Try this link.
