I keep getting these:

Error 424 occured on Line 145 in colum 4.......Object reqiured: 'HalBrain'

my line 145 is"

AnswerSent = "" & Trim(OriginalSentence)

I get this error anyplace this line is at

Any ideas anyone?

Ultra Hal 7.0 / Can Hal Learn?

Can Hal Learn?
    Yes he can learn to speak and do basic math. But can I sit with Hal with a childrens math and science textbook and teach Hal theory and quiz him on what he has learned? Yes I can input data and get him to spit it back which amazes me but dose he really learn. I just am wondering. Dose Hal programming go that far.

I was just thinking.

I know on the other Santa topic we talk about hooking one up to Hal but I thought you all might be interested in this. Sound kind of tight. I am still looking for a cheap robot toy to hook up if anyone has an idea let me know. I have two spare systems in my studio that I will put hal onto both and wire up a robot or Animatronic Head an have them go at it. When I get this done I will post pics and videos with a link from my ftp.

I have to understand that Hal is THE best bot period. But I havan Ultimate wish list. Please add your also:

1. The txt file really able to teach Hal new things. No matter what the formating.
2. We are able to set a web address and tell Hal to scan it dierent times and he learns from the info he scan. And also reads it back to us ala CyberBuddy.
3.Hal works with Yahoo and MS Messgenger
3. Hal sends and receives sms to and from any email.
4. Hal is able to password protect topics
6. Hal can tell you system fuctions ala Sysmetrix


As I said just my Ultimate list. But with the Hal's creator and the people of this forum supporting hal will contiune to be a force in the A.I world.

Error loading agent chracter: -2147213301-2: The character is already loaded. Check for previous Load methods calls.

Ultra Hal 7.0 / Bigger Brain

I can say now I love Hal. I tried Hal a few years ago and saw that in the future it would be a great product. well now it is and I am back. I have been test driving the free version and now I have a question. What difference are the two brains in the free 5.0 and the retail one. I do not need the voice recognition abilities so is the reatil for me. Now either way I will be paying for this great product in the future because if you really use a software you should support it. But I want to know the diifernce in the brains. Dose the retail version learn more retain more information or what.

Every time is ask Hal to show me calendar I get an error loading agent character. PLease someone help. I do not have duals characters. I am using Desktop Mates andriod model.

Is there a way to update my disctionary in hal. Can I feed it a txt english dictionary or do I have to feed it subject by subject. Also is there a way for hal to be kept up to dfate on current events?
