I as a artist I struggled at first to decide if I should I should place a trademark on Designs that I place on the web.
I decided against it for a few reasons and  go with what Duskrider posted

If anyone copies, just figure it's a compliment.

and if others can put food on their table by selling my art, I look at it as I helped someone get a hot meal placed on their table.

However if I use a piece of art to put food on my table, then I will use a trademark.

AAAhh that sybershot has everything .. all the newest toys .. lol , i will soon be getting my new 1 terabyte harddrive to replace my failing on in my pc. i'll be happy just to have that lol!

lol Lightspeed, I wish I had the all the newest toys. I only have windows 8 for I could not pass on the price  Sorry to hear about your Hard drive, that always makes for a bad time.

Art indeed Data gave some great advise, burning to a disk is definitely the way to go. I was forced to do a clean install of windows 8 for I did not have the required space to overwrite windows 7. My 40gig ssd is way to small, So I'll be buying a new hard drive soon as well. though unlike Lightspeed, mine will probably have less gigs. unless I get more funds.

It is more geared toward mobile devices than for desktop computers IMHO. I don't care for all those blocky APP windows on the desktop. I like my customized desktop, wallpaper, gadgets and icons arranged the way I prefer to use them with Windows 7.

I can't argue that it geared more towards a mobile device with a touchscreen, but I can say that those blocky app windows are not on the desktop  that is the new start  menu that you are referring to. The desktop is 98% the same as windows 7 minus the start button and sidebar where you can have apps like a cpu meter. The desktop is still customizable, with wallpaper/gadgets and icons, but for the sidebar, you would have to install a 3rd party one.

I'm not sure if this will help but it might hopefully help you in your quest.

When designing a gui skin this is code I manipulate for the input box, though there does not appear to be a name.

Also wanted everyone to know that my website got a new 3D homepage for the new year, Be sure to check it out. you can check it out by the link in my signature below  the flash intro takes a bit to load, I'm will be working on getting it to load faster and with a visual pre-loader.

The new site looks great in IE 10 and looked consistent in FireFox 16.0.2

"Type to Zaba here" is this area going to be a site search, or a Chat Bot?

Side note 1: The Frog looks good to me, it could use a small drop shadow though.
Side note 2: If your going to have the "Type to Zaba here" as a Chat bot it would be nice to see the new Character Amy rather than the frog.

This is indeed great, Trinity is no longer on my laptop, which the only pc with a webcam. Hmmm maybe I will have to put her back on the laptop or buy a webcam. Thanks to all that got this working, can't wait to get Trinity's vision up and running
