Title: cheaper microphone fix for voice recognition
Post by: lightspeed on August 19, 2015, 10:49:45 am
I found out when a person uses a cheaper mic and headphone set that when using voice recognition programs like dragon speak it can pick up fan sounds etc.
so i thought i would try a cheap fix so i found the foam flat piece ( it is actually a flat foam brush for painting . i removed the foam from the plastic handle . and placed this foam over the headset mic , this cuts down extra noises that can make the "VR" and hal from hearing noises and typing gibberish .
i got 3 of these foam brushes at a dollar store for , one dollar .
