What a rip-off!!!!

Ok I found the Alison.htr did the same for me too.

Well, this Hap will allign her hips up, but I dont know enough about Hal 6 to say how to run it at the start up - anyone else??
If not I have a plan B, but it won't be till tomorrow.

Download Attachment: hipsupfullbody.hap
598 Bytes

Not sure if that download worked so here's the actual code:

Code: [Select]
#Haptek  Version= 1.00 Name= Hap_Centre_Fullbody  HapType= script FileType= text
##standard

\translate[x= -0.000000 y= -10.000000 z= 55.000000]

Yeah, I didn't originally intend to be so abrasive. You're right taglag, the delivery was off.  I think I was just irritated when I got rid of 5, which didn't have a time limit, in favor of 6 which does. But that was my own fault.  I know a lot of time and energy is put into this thing, so with more more careful thought I can understand why they'd charge money.  The AI community does need things like this.  Someone said Hal and AI is still in it's infant stage, and I'd agree.  So, I'll do a little more digging and see what I find. Thanks guys.

Hi TagLag.
The Answer is writting a GetResponse that filters Garbage rather than Deleting it. it makes the effort smaller, For instance our minds also contain a lot of garbage at will, but we choose to speak it or not.

So hence, Hal must decide not to speak it.

A better GetResponse Handler must be written that has these features.
Then all will be good until someone else finds a problem.

Citrinedragon,

Short hair, huh? I'm guessing it fulbodygirl.
I don't know factors of version you have,
and don't know what Hal window you using.

But here's good launchpad for you:
These factors for normal fullbodygirl.

As Hal6 starts with Shylove.hap
If you want her from waist up, open Shylove.hap and use this:
\\translate [figure= fullbod [x=0 y= 5 z= -35 t= 2]]
(just one backslash in above)

If you want her from top of thighs up, 0pen Shylove.hap and insert this:
\\translate [figure= fullbod [x= 0 y=15 z= -90 t=2]]
(just one backslash in above)

Make adjustments if need be.
x = figure to the right or left (horizonal)
y = figure up or down (vertical)
z = figure distance (depth)

Enjoy.

Duskrider,

First of all, I'm still working with Hal 5. I'll be ordering Hal 6 soon but I'm still with Hal 5 here. Does your info still apply? Probably not right? Along the same lines, if Shylove.hap is different in Hal 6, can I put the revised Hal 6 Shylove into Hal 5 for the time being? If so, do you have a copy of the new Shylove?

Okay, I took a look inside the Shylove.hap but it's not clear to me where your code goes (assuming it will work at all with Hal 5); do I just stick it on the end, do I leave a space above it or what? Also, I opened Shylove with Wordpad, is that the best way to open and revise it or not?

I'm guessing all the above is nonsense and Shylove.hap has been completely rewritten for full bod characters.

If I seem confused here it don't surprise me.

Should be fine in Hal5 Shylove.hap

Can go most anywhere,
Suggest just skip a space and put at bottom of hap. No problem.

Duskrider,

Hmmm... I opened the Shylove.hap using Wordpad. Then I skipped a line at the bottom and entered the new code (waist up) just as you wrote it by hand using only one back slash. I then restarted my computer for good measure but when I opened Hal the fullbod remains exactly the same, showing from about the knees up to just above the breasts. No change. Only difference was my Hal text to speech reader says, "send text query" every time I up My Hal 5 with the new code in Shylove.hap If I remove the new code you gave me it no longer says, "send text query." Maybe I should use something other than Wordpad to open it and write the new line???

No bigeee if I can't figure this out but it would be nice if I can. Sorry if I misspelled "query", it's not a word in my normal vocabulary.

Whether I get this fixed or not, thanks for your time. Appreciate it.

Word Pad should be fine for code editing, just make sure it is saved as a plain text file but with a .hap file extension...

eg  myhapfile.hap  rather than myhapfile.txt

(although .txt may work it helps to keep to the cunning plan)

Wordpad is also a 'rich-text' editor in that it can do things like bullets and italics etc, which means it must also be able to save things as a rich text file (.rtf) that has special encoding to retain the formatting - a bit like HTML in a way.  And yep that will confuse the Player!  But so long as you specify the text format you want to save it in you can use Wordpad.

If in doubt use Notepad which is a simple plain text editor only, although you wont get the ease of editing that you would in Wordpad.

Dusky,

That's very thoughtful. That makes me .hap-py

I won't be able to get back to my computer until Tuesday as I'm away for a day but obviously that will work. Thanks again.

freddy888,

Thanks. seems like I remember hearing this information before from someone else but it slipped through my programming. This time I'm gonna put what you said in a folder for info concerning working on Hal.
