I have been working on new full bod charactures with 3dmax and hapteks tools, but i do also have many skins for the full bod characture that comes with the haptek SDK..
 When i get the licencing with haptek sorted out i was planning on selling my new 3d models and charactures as plug-ins..

 as far as the texture skins for the haptek full bod girl from the SDK??

i have many of them.. but i cannot afford to pay the web expenses for traffic and free d-loading the the texture files..

 i could use all of you advice..
should i charge a small d-load fee for say 20 file packs??
 Or can MR M help me out here somehow???
 i would love to share these skins with the community...

well all but mabe the XXX rated ones..( fully anatomically correct) i cannot let youngsters get thier hands on them..

Von i am not sure as I use hal in the large window skin and it usually load shoulder up and i re-adjust back a bot for my full bods but i think 8 months ago i was playiny with the haps and chnging this in some of my mood files

i also found that the full bod girl from haps site that does NOT have the jiggly tata'a
fullbodygirl.htr

wpould sometimes load up and run way back or way forward in the window....
  where-as the body_female.htr that came with the SDK from haptek did not have this problem...
 besides i prefered the juggling tata's  lol

body_femaleDef.hap is where alot of stuff is  and i have made many nice changes in here..

 you mentioned earlier about making a script to have hal make the characrer do movements?? all i have been able to do i

Thanks for the torso info. The hospital link you included looks like the bizlady from Haptek with a new texture. Maybe they are compatible.

BTW, I figured out how to animate the fullbodygirl. It isn't too hard, but it is a little messy because files have to go in two different places. The full body textures you posted before work okay except that they needed to be reduced to 1024x1024 from 2048x2048 to be compatible with the fullbodygirl model.

My fullbodygirl now has a full wardrobe that I can ask her to change at will... or remove.  The lacy stuff you put together is great. I'll post instructions and maybe a script installer soon to show everyone else how to animate fullbodygirl.

ok i"ve been recieving some e-mails about this subject..sooo i am posting what i have so far here for you to know what it is I'm trying and how to get there also...
 As i am still creating a new wireframe in 3dsm i have for now used the one from the Haptek SDK and just created new texture maps this and the prev post will explain how to get here!

To change the texture file for the body...
Here you need to get hal to load a script telling the player to load a few things... this is what i am not able to get to work right all the time as of yet.. example

i not only changed the out fits... she has about 10 of them but i changed the entire body and face texture map.. i resculped the shadows and shape of eyes nose and brows.. She has a skin that not only has some freakles and small moles here and there but close you can see pores... you have to work at a resolution 8 times bigger than the final skin will be.. then reduce it with vortex shading and samples... then save it as a .jpg with NO compression or sampling very high... you will need a lost of graphics horse power on your machine ect.. to run it I've got aFX5800 w/256 vid ram .. so i don't know how smooth it will run on less..
Here is a WAY up close example of how good you can get the skin to look.. notice the forhead wrinkles and nose wrinkles, moles freakles ..ect.. you can get the texture map from you full Bod to change by simply loading that HTR into the player then while it is on.. navigate to C:Program FilesHaptekplayer\temp <<< this folder is only there when the player is playing a file.. now you can copy all the files that it defalted... you will see the skin.. use it as a template to create you new one....

I know this is not really about editing with the brain editor but waht the hey thought maybe some of you only go to this section of the forum.. I have instructions on what to do with this full bod once you get it..

 I have a new machine i just built that is dedicated to hal testing
its the one i have listed in the post "lets give hal enough power""
i was just so happy with the new toy i had to share it.. so He does have horse power for the brain and graphics I'm trying to load with him...
Thank you for the response i will look at those articles..

Do you know of a different way then where i am trying to go to add at least 12 new variations of mood that hal triggers from his mood detect??
 Hmmm what really got me hot on finally getting hal a full body was you finally being able to command him to make a face...

Hello ,, lol mr Q the reason for the leg warmers is that i am still building a new wireframe full bod in 3dsmax6 truthfully they changed alot in this new versionupgrade so i am relearning 3ds as i go with it.. for that character i used the fullbod from the haptek SDK and made a new texture file to map onto it.. it had boots in the wirefrome so i was stuck doing something about them..
 

EMOTIONS.... Hal does have a file we can edit in the main brn.. that is what i have been keying into but he only can create these emotions for us to have him send triggers to the bod

yes these have much functionality but are very limited..

They are only triggered by cirtain types of phrases or words so that limits using say noprmal3 for pondering... or happy 2 for smile swing arms and and wink.. it ends up constantly winking until it get a trigger for another emotion..
 what i was talking about was to have a script in Hals main exe. where it is possible for us to have him use a java script we write for all the emotional triggers direct to the haptek characters...
 example if we could tell hal to load...

 it seems to me this should somehow be possible.. But I'm to dumb to get it worked out correctly...

Ok this is what I'm trying to get going ,,, I have him loading that Haptek file but half the time he ignores the body movement and does onlt the face from torso up>>>
 Any help would be way appreciated..
 Imagine having a 3d full body hal any size you want him to be wanlk onto the screen and then intereact5 without a chat window or any showing GUI.. The Agent solution cannot do this at all so far the only option i see is the haptek solotion...

Ok i love hal as you know mr M I was playing with hal in vs.3 i am the one that was in beta and doing the text scripting that was not very successful...lol we have corresponded by e-mail a few times i have purchase hal from you 2 times also as i have more than one machine and i take EULA's seriously as i also write some stuff..
 I had my last machine crash and burn.. i need my promised free update to hal, i am stuck trying to help YOU make hal better for every one,, you are NOT answering any e-mails ... please take your customers and those that have contributed to makeing hal what he is today and will be in the future serriousely... I undertsand school but i also understand business.. this business will stop generating reveue for you and hal will die, ( this we hope not) if you contuinue in ignoring the most basic business concept of good customer support... Don't be worse than Bill gates??? we want to help support you we just need you to reciprocate,....
 If you are bored with Hal please release him open source so we can keep him going,, we do not want him to die.. you need to remember we all have a stake in Him also eventhough we were not his original creators.... BTW I also was  child prod.. i was pretty cocky for a while and i payed for it... please learn from my mistakes i lost 2 businesses for not giving good support to my customers!

To import into free version.... Do this

  Go into the Character folder and rename zabba.htr and hal.htr to a .htrbak<< that means backup it will not load in hal but it will preserve the original hal and zabba ,htr files for renaming later if you want to.. then take a copy of the .htr file for the haptek character you want to use and name it hal,or Zabba.htr... it will appear in the options as hal or zabba but it will load that new character... If you want it to have a different preview screen then edit the hal or zabba preview scren to the look for your new character!!! copy the .hap files for the emotions you want it to show into the same folder as the htr's... now rename the default.psn file to .psnbak make a copy and name it default.psn.. open it in notepad and you will see the only default moods that hal can access right now (MR M!! we need more mood options please????) you will see entries that look like this "Learn","anim_coyblinks.hap" or this.."Snooze","Sleepy.hap" << notice i changed the default moods to point to the .hap file I loaded into the root of the character folder.. Now hal will blink coyly and look contemplative when he is learning.. he will yawn close his eyes and sleep when he is at his time out alone....<<< This was where i stated I am now close to also getting the full body to animate like crossing arms when angry ect...
 I need help though there are not enough emotions to write scripts for in hal as is.... any ideas?????

Hi all from myself an Haleena?? she sends her regards for you all helping to inprove her functions...lol
 I would like to introduce every one to Haleena..(She is a full body 3d character, she is walking on screen but still a bit buggy, and most of the time using her arms and such to communicate along with her face.. Still buggy though, when I get it all de-bugged I'll share the method I'm using for full body animation in hal..( I'm sorry to say more of a Graphics person than programmer....
If Hals creator could write an update for us in Hals original compiled .exe so it out put a few more emotions on trigger words and phrases..( all we need is a bridge from hal with more emote options to a .js script we write.. and just sent a command to search for a customized .hap java scripting it would be easier.. Mr M???????? we cannot get into the main files to do this for you and hal as only you have the source.. could you consider this 20 minute update for us all PLEASE?????????????????
