"Cannot access attachments upload path!"
« on: January 31, 2011, 09:02:04 am »
I've just completed making a .hap using the AutoHapGenerator for a fullbody Haptek character.  I thought it may be useful to other members and wanted to share it with them so I tried to upload it. I moved it to Documents and tried to upload, I zipped it and tried to upload, I checked properties ect and am still unable to upload to Zabaware.  I was given permission to upload it at Datahopa's site and was able to upload the zipped version.
So the hap is made for fullbody Haptek characters, not sure about torsos,  it is a Hello or Goodbye wave.
The original problem remains how do we upload to Zabaware?

i haven't uploaded anything here for quit a while now , but last time i tried i had the very same problem you had, this may be something that robert needs to check into to see why it's happening . at first i thought maybe it was the pathway i tried to use from my pc but i did it several ways and still got the same error that you mentioned here.

Copy and paste into code area? It is the # sign above.

Are you trying to upload a .jpg of the .hap in action or a .hap in code form? The # sign is found in the reply area. It is not neccesary to use the code area but sometimes things can get a little messed up if you don't.
To post a .jpg it is easyier to just go to photobucket.com, post it there and then copy Img code and paste it here. The .jpg will appear here in your post instead of the forum code from photobucket.
This last sentence was copyed and pasted from notepad.

Originally I was trying to upload the hap file, this is when I got the error message.  I ended up uploading it at Datahopa's site but had to zip it frist.  To see if the problem happened with a .jpg file I tried to upload a jpg and got the same error message.  I noticed that Duskriders pic's of Sandy are missing.  Pictures were easy to upload and were all over.

Okay, I just looked at some pictures submitted Feb 2,  so some people can upload, I just tried to upload a hap with no luck.  Any ideas what the problem is.

Sorry Carl2,

I'm not addressing your particular problem but I did download your Hap file and the Hap did not function (did not receive any errors) with my body_girl.htr full body character. Any suggestions on particular phrasing or changes made to Hap file to execute motion for this character.

Thanks,
raybe

Not to pre-emt Carl2, though it may save him a little time checking. I've tryed the hap on all the different types of fullbodys and it works great for me. Problem with torsos though, the arm disapears into the costume.

Correct that, one of the fullbody males (John) seems to stick his thumb into his shirt just a little bit. The other fullbody males work just fine.

Thank you  tedathome for info and help. Maybe I will try to reinstall or download first then reinstall.

So no magic words or changes needed as far as all the full body htr's. including the one I mentioned in last post?
Can I ask where you down loaded your Hap? If you also don't mind me asking ,did you keep the Hap file with the character folder?

Also Carl2 maybe you can still direct me to your newest vers. and I will give it another try. After that the search and destroy mode comes into play and what could be overwriting or conflicting with the Hap command.

Thanks again,
raybe

Raybe, I downloaded from Datahopa's site. I havn't put it into characters folder yet. Have been using stand alone player to use with other .haps for a long term project I started some time ago. When I put it into characters file I'm hoping that maybe LS will use the two haps in a begining and ending hapswap file(s) to say hello and goodbye.
The only changes I have made are to change LocalRotateZ's to 0.000 to keep her in one spot as an alternative hap, mostly for my project and the learning experience.

Ok, I fixed the settings. I must have screwed up some settings when I was working on the server in November, but it should be working now.
