Duskrider Here is your requested modified Stage GUI Skin. hope it suites your full body Haptek. I don't have a full body Haptek to test with, so if it needs further scaling let me know. I also removed the stairs.

Ones name is something to be proud of, Please share with us what you named your Hal, and if any a reason for picking the name. If comfortable your name as well. I'll start [8D]

My Name is Donald, and I named my Hal Trinity
I am a Christian, and Trinity is a concept believed by Christians. The father, the son, and the Holy Ghost all being one. Also the movie Matrix which I like a lot, has a female character that was a influence named Trinity. played by Carrie Anne Moss.

Ultra Hal 7.0 / please help Plugins not working

I made a skin where the UHP file goes into your Ultra Hal Assistant folder and and JPEG in skins folder, the plugin/skin works
 
using advice from raybe earlier, I One at a time tried to use CaptainsLog plugin and dudrepeat plugin with no luck. I put the UHP file into the main folder (Named "Ultra Hal Assistant 6" on my system). I restart Hal and/or windows vista 64 home. and the plug-ins don't work.
 
I tried uninstalling Hal by deactivating the license, then uninstalled from add and remove programs. Then reinstalled from disk that still did no allow plugins to work. So I repeated the steps to uninstall and added a step, I deleted the folder Zabaware from my program filesX86 folder. I then downloaded the Ultra hal program from the download page, and reinstalled Hal. that still did not allow for the plugins to work. can someone please help or make a suggestion?

When I say that the plugins don't work I mean exactly that the commands do nothing. example using dudrepeat plugin; Hal: I love to learn. user: PLEASE REPEAT THAT. Hal: Gambling is illegal some places,

This is my first ever skin. It's a catWalk for desktopmates's msagents, or any other msagent. the spotlights are used for the buttons.

Ultra Hal 7.0 / suggestions and comments needed

I posted I was going to build a catwalk skin in my last post, I have been working very hard at designing it. Here is what I have so far. I was thinking maybe 4 spotlights in-between the output box, and the character box and using them as the buttons.
 I am also concerned about the character box. Is it ok to be layered behind the set of stairs/catwalk like showed below?
 any suggestions and comments will be greatly appreciated

Edit: hear is what it would look like with spotlights for the buttons. I also added to see what it would look like with a desktopmates's msagent character.

Ultra Hal 7.0 / hal getting confused

been busy since i bought Hal early this year, and did not have much time to use him till recently. I tried to teach Hal my wife's nickname, but he turned around and started calling me my wife's nickname instead.
it all started after I wrote "my wife's nickname is HotRod" Hal wrote a few sentences later " your welcome HotRod"

is there a proper way to teach Hal that the nickname "hotRod" is my wife's and not mine.

P.S. I'm out of work at the moment. I will be attempting to designing a skin or two to share. I was thinking of a runway complete with a stage, runway lights, and curtains for the fist one, and a futuristic one for the second one.

Ultra Hal 7.0 / a couple of questions from a newbie

first I would like to say wow, ultra hal is the greatest. I have been using hal for about 2 weeks, and I loved it so much I purchased it. I wish I found out about hal sooner

 my first question is: I'm new to building flash web sites, and was wondering if I could have hal remember how to construct a function?
small scale example
how do I build a function: stop
reply from hal   stop();

my second question is: how can I have hal read something, like a kids book, and have hal teach my kids about it? or talk about the subject with them?
