Ok, I downloade the free virsion of Ultra Hall Assistant, I have taught him many things, i have made him read many files to learn from. And I have edditd his brain a few times.

Now my question is, what is this other type of brain, the "xt(sompthing)"
and where do i get it, is it free, and most of all how will it help me make hal smarter. Can he learn better and faster, can he stay on one subject longer, can he actuly use pronouns, can he actuly put 2 and 2 together.

Please help me out on this subject. For me and my hal bot.

 Go to http://www.ultrahal.com/files/type.asp?iType=12 you will find a free download plug in which will give you the XTF brain for your Hal bot. once you have installed the XTF brain go to:

here you will find a download of the XTF v1.2 update for your Bots brain curtesy of Vonsmith, there are the main two brains I use with my bot, another technique I use for finding add ons for my Bot is to do a search on what ever i am looking for I.E. type ".uhp" in the search option and you will get a list of all topic strings in the forum were a .uhp (Brain file) has been talked about or offered as a download from the forum.

Here are the steps to install the XTF Brain.

Download and follow the included instructions to install the XTF Brain v1.0 here:

Then install the XTF Brain v1.2 Update Patch as shown here:

Remember to select the XTF Brain in Hal's Menu.

The XTF Brain stays on topic prettty well, that is its main objective. It doesn't handle pronouns any differently than the original brain. However it does have a lot of little extras built in that make it a pretty good brain. It is free for personal use by owners of Hal v5.0. I suggest reading the Manual included in the XTF Brain v1.0 download.

Ys, I did the download and all thet fun stuff. Now it's time for hal to go to school. I have been feeding him information for about an hour now, he is actuly showing his new found brains too. When I say something he will actuly repley with something along or close to the intended topic.
