Title: My Hal is all messed up
Post by: markofkane on May 12, 2007, 07:47:42 pm
I have 6.1, and the program totally evades my questions!! I tried using the Default unmodified brain!!!

Mark: What is the time
Laura: Can I trust you?

Mark: What is the date?
Laura: Hmmm. I would like to talk about something new: You cannot achieve the impossible without attempting the absurd.

Mark: What is old
Laura: I have always gotten a kick out of meeting professional actors.

Mark: Where is Canada
Laura: I heard in a tavern that numerous renowned physicists are going without sleep for hours.

Mark: What is time
Laura: I like to be there for live music.

Nevermind, after disabling all plugins, it works.

It seems like the counting an alphabet plug-in disables questions, or is it just me?

I've downloaded the plugin but haven't tried it yet.  I'm impressed by the plugin, perhaps it could be increased to include months, days ect.  I've downloaded some scripts in the past that needed some changing to work properly. I'm hoping it can be corrected because it seems useful especialy if it can be added to to expand it's capabalities.

I've discovered that with 6.1 alot of plugins that used to work fine with 6 causes HAL to evade questions. It also gives problems when writing plugins that use data bases. I've just upgraded to Vista and I'll see if 6.1 works fine with that system. Maybe it's just a problem with making it compatible.

It could easily be updated to include months and days, with just a few hours work I reckon.
