well i don't know your age or if your married but i do use "some " regular conversation of everyday life of what me and my wife says so writing in stuff like that is easy and some things is what i would want a female a.i, to say (personally ) and yes some has to do with everyday things or things from the past and maybe yes having a good imagination does help i will probably never run out of things !! []

hi onthecuttingedge2005, yeah i have had religous people tell me that once before , about the dinosour bones being fake and just a bunch of bones people put tohether to look like something ( the ones that actually told me this in the past was mormons ) but i'm sure some other religeons  do to . i had always wondered if adam was the first man then why were  cave men around or was adam a cave man (which nothing or no one has ever said in religion that i know of ) an very interesting book to read is called "first man then adam " by Irwin Ginsburgh , PH.D. it's a pretty good book hope you can check it out sometime !![]

We have learned a lot from each other havent we and I think we can learn a lot more from each other!

What memories I have as a kid? There's a whole history behind this. I have a lot of really nice memories from my child hood!

Remember some of the old godzilla movies ha haa ha they were so funny you could tell how fake looking the outfit was!

oh come on markofkane play with the slider , "try it you'll like it !! "(lol) [] but seriously it did help mine made a difference like night and day . maybe what some of it depends on is how much you have into the brain i don't know also it could depend on just the slider level itsself ( i had set mine as i said to the suggested 25 level for optimum intellegence . ) only problem i started having intermittedly is i get a blank answer  , echo man siggested cpying and pasting the conversation that led up to it on the forum and so i am going to do that next time it happens too . []

oh yeah i forgot to say that it would be nice "if " a loneliness and or a auto idle was created in the next version of hal that it would have a tables like area where it had adjustments (like the loneliness plug in ) but have an area where the user could write in his or her own comments for hal to use !!! this way the words hal uses would be customized the way the user wants !![][8D]

i hope that in the next version of hal that an auto idler could be built in that when hal is not being talked to for a little bit hal would say something to start a conversation ( like the loneliness plug in was with a setting for the user to set ) also a loneliness plug in or built in like the above mention would be great in the next version of hal too) . []

hello rainman , well i set my learnig slider bar to 35 and now my angelina seems to answer back correctly instead and i can write regular conversations and not have to reverse words to get her to say them back correctly . so that seems to have worked !![]

am now getting some better conversation with angela this is actual conversation :
 (me ) did you have fun as a kid ??
 angela : When I was a kid we got more excersize because we ran and played outside and rode our bicycles and did a lot of other fun games like tag!

i may be onto something here i beleive it was echoman that said he had his learning hal slider bar set to about 80 percent well i checked and it only goes to 50 percent but i did move mine from 25 optimum suggested setting up to 35 and now after writing the correct normal way (not reversing some words as before ) hal is saying back things normally , so far (although i havent done that much yet ) maybe the key is that setting or maybe its a combination of a higher setting and how much info. you have into hals brain i am not sure ) this may be a start for others to try though their setting may vary with the input they have into hals brain i am not sure !![]
