Hi One.
one of the most sophisticated routines in HAL is the deductive reasoning script.
example:
User: If it's cloudy then it might rain today.
HAL: I think I understand that if it is cloudy then it might rain.
User: It's cloudy outside.
HAL: It may rain today.
these deductive statements are taught to HAL using If and Then statements.
they are very powerful.

Welcome!
You might try using the Brain Editor and scan through the various table entries. You can view different responses and make some changes to the entries.
Always copy the halbrain.db file to a safe place before "experimenting" with the editor.

Speech recognition still has a way to go.
For me, 90 to 95% accuracy is not acceptable
when trying to teach a bot to learn.
