The Haptek part of the expansion pack is not working. It will only display the Microsoft agents. Anyone have a fix for this?

Assuming you have both paid versions (UltraHal & Expansion Pack) - (please don't take offense), check to see if you're using any VR Haptek Plug-ins. If so, uncheck them, restart Hal and check it again.
There have been cases reported by others who had experienced problems with this. Personally, I use the VR Plugins with no problems.
In the Search Box at the upper right, type in "expansion pack " (no quotes) and see what results appear. Hopefully some of these might help you.

VR plug in's where? (and no i did not take offense and yes they are both paid for) If you mean on hal I did not see a spot where they are being used if you mean windows I am not sure where to go because doing a search on expansion packs pulled up a list of files none of which vaguely resembled something I could uncheck.

I've also used the expansion pack many times, first I put in Hal then the expansion pack. at this time I'm using it with fullbody characters.
I can't recall having problems with it. It may be helpful if you give us a little info about the OS and type of computer you are using this on.
A possible quick fix would be to go to control panel, programs and features, and uninstall the expansion pack then reinstall it. Unchecking all the plugins in the Hal brain would also be advised. Wish you luck

Be sure the extension on your haptar characters is .htr and not .haptar

They do have the htr extension they are located in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Zabaware\Ultra Hal Assistant 6\Character\Hal.htr they do not work. The player won't work in my browsers either. Maybe it is because I have windows 8.1 but I have tried different compatibility settings and nothing. Only the Microsoft characters work.

I got sent some hap characters in my email and they don't show up either.

The characters will work independently of my browsers and hal but they don't and won't load in either one.

okay after actually clicking on the hap files and watching them I closed them out and hal and tried it and now they work. Weird it is like the computer had to be taught that the player was suppose to be used for them. But the characters of the hap show up wierd the only that does not is the "full body one" which appears as a head.

Put your mouse on her, right click & hold, then move forward or back.
You can move them in,out & sideways etc.

:) thanks i had to use my left mouse button but it worked.

Try using the mouse with your left Shift key to adjust up / down positions and the Scroll wheel for closer / farther.

My mistake.
Not thinking i probably have different mouse to most people.
