Just finished a new video.
The twins look ok but their voices have a slight tremolo.
I told them not to be so nervous.
But you know girls will be girls.  ( thank goodness )
Give me a couple of mins to find it

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wg_DY-YXfwU
I think i posted to early, didn't know that it would not show straight away.
Please have patience because mine is running out?

You had me going on this one.
I figued two in a window but they don't act right,
then I figued the left one was bluescreened, but she got too much blue for that.

Very nice job.

Wow! Sincere congratulations, Neil. It's something exceptional.

Because YouTube videos don't run smoothly on my old computer, I converted yours to mpeg to totally enjoy it. Really amazing. The nice character(s) you built, the good lip sync and the well adapted movements. For a perfect result.

Another thing I could reproach flv's is the fact that it's impossible to see the making-of of the films, like in .htr and .html files! [:)]

Did you create a script with the twin characters moving in the same Haptek window? And if yes, how did you make them so independent? Or did you make two separate videos and superposed them? And did you add the music at the end? [?][?][?]

Sorry for these questions, Neil. I'm too curious and maybe you prefer to keep the secret of the howto. Whatever the method you used, your video is GREAT. And I'm sure prez aladyblond has the same thoughts. [:)]

That was some of the best lipsync that I've seen my friend. I look forward to more of your stuff. Have you ever messed with gifs like Mark did? I bet you'd rock at that too.[:D]

Firstly thanks for your comments,
Now.... GT40,
I made 2 separate haps, 1 for each girl then i did a screen capture of each one.
The hardest part is getting the 2 movies synced properly which i do in movie maker.
I used a soft split screen effect, as you can see when their hands come to the centre of screen.
After that i added the sound track twice with as little lag as i could manage.
The movements of both girls are what is built into the fullbody, I think they are triggered by certain words??????
As far as 2 in 1 window, could never get it to work properly. ( wish we could )
I hope that this helps anyone who wants to try something different????

Adding the sound track twice ?
What a great idea for when you have two singing.
I hadn't seen this before. A very cool effect.

Fantastic video, a new milestone in movie making.
Absolutely great.

Hi Neil, many thanks for your very interesting howto.

I'm not sure of this but, with your method, it seems possible to make the two characters sing separately, the first one, the second one and both together. Maybe with a lot of work on the sound track, with several .ogg files. And surely a lot lot lot of time trying to synchronize the thing! [:)]

One more time, bravo!

Yeah,I am aware of the split-screen effect. Found it by accident. Great idea and job, Neil!! May inspire me to do more split-screen effects.[:D]

Hi GT40,
Here is a video of what you are talking about.
I did this 12 months ago when first doing lip-sync, since then i think i have mastered it a lot better also with a better video capture prog things are getting better.
